Jaguar Land Rover Vehicle Technician/Mechanic
Location: Jaguar Land Rover Cardiff
Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm, plus Saturday mornings on a rota
Salary: £28,000 - £42,000 OTE (depending on experience)

As a Vehicle Technician, you'll play a vital role in delivering an exceptional client experience by keeping vehicles safe, reliable, and roadworthy. Working with a skilled team and industry-leading equipment, you'll carry out servicing, repairs, diagnostics, and fault-finding to manufacturer and MOT standards while maintaining accurate records and high levels of quality and safety.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:

NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Repair (or equivalent BTEC/City & Guilds qualification)

Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills

Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain technical information clearly

A commitment to ongoing training and development

The ability to carry out quality checks and road tests following repairs
Previous experience within a franchise retailer environment is desirable, as is experience mentoring junior technicians. Knowledge of electric vehicles would be an advantage.
