Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Chef de Partie to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing high-quality dishes, maintaining kitchen standards, and supporting the Head Chef in delivering exceptional dining experiences. Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook dishes to the highest standards using fresh, local produce, ensuring consistency and presentation excellence
- Assist in menu planning and contribute creative ideas for new dishes, specials, events and bespoke menus
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of your designated section in accordance with food safety regulations
- Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory management to ensure ingredients are fresh and available
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during service periods
- Adhere strictly to food safety and hygiene standards at all times
- Support the training of junior staff and interns as required
- Ensure all equipment is used safely and maintained properly
Experience
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or a similar culinary role within a restaurant, pub or hospitality setting
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in kitchen hygiene
- Experience in meal preparation, plating, and presentation techniques
- Previous restaurant experience demonstrating ability to work efficiently under pressure
- Familiarity with serving procedures and customer service standards is advantageous
