Trace Heating Engineer (Electrical)
Location: Sheffield & Nationwide
Working Pattern: Full-time, 38 hours per week, plus occasional weekend work
We are currently recruiting for a Trace Heating Engineer to join the Powertherm team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and skilled individual to develop their career within a growing and supportive business.

Key Responsibilities
- Identify pipework, equipment, and systems requiring trace heating
- Carry out work in line with relevant regulations, site procedures, permits, and safety standards
- Install trace heating elements to pipes and hoppers
- Terminate cables into Junction boxes
- Complete testing and Certification activities
- Read and interpret isometric drawings, specifications and installation information
- Support team members on site to complete work safely, efficiently, and to the required standard
Candidate Requirements
- Experience of trace heating installation and testing
- Able to work nationwide
- Will be expected to travel to sites across the UK
- Flexible to undertake weekend work
- Full UK driving licence
- Able to read CAD drawings
- Organised, methodical and detail-oriented
- Good communication skills
