We have an exciting new vacancy for a Housekeeping Team Leader to join our team at The Palace Hotel in Buxton. Your duties will include:
- Supporting the Housekeeping Manager with the daily running of the department
- Checking bedrooms, public areas and function rooms to ensure standards are maintained
- Assisting with training and developing the housekeeping team
- Completing staff sheets and allocating rooms for cleaning
- Carrying out linen counts and supporting with stock control
- Assisting with payroll administration in the absence of the Housekeeping Manager
- Helping with cleaning duties when required
- Reporting any maintenance issues or damages promptly
- Ensuring health and safety procedures are followed at all times
The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous housekeeping experience within a hotel environment
- Experience in a supervisory or team leader role is desirable
- Strong attention to detail and pride in delivering high standard
- Good communication skills
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic
- The ability to work well independently and as part of a team
