Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and enthusiastic Cafe Barista to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering excellent customer service, creating high-quality coffee and beverages, prepare chai and rolls and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for all guests. Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including speciality coffees, teas, and smoothies, ensuring consistency and quality.
- Take customer orders accurately and efficiently, providing friendly and attentive service.
- Handle cash transactions and operate the till system with precision.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of workstations, including cleaning equipment and utensils regularly.
- Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Engage with customers in a warm, professional manner to enhance their overall experience.
- Follow health and safety guidelines diligently to ensure a safe environment for both staff and customers.
- Assist with opening and closing duties as required.
Skills
- Previous experience as a barista or in a customer service role is desirable but not essential; training will be provided.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage positively with customers.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy periods.
- Organised with strong attention to detail to ensure beverage quality and cleanliness standards are met.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including mornings, afternoons, or evenings as needed.
- A friendly demeanour with a passion for coffee and customer satisfaction.
- Basic numeracy skills for handling transactions accurately. Pay: £12.21-£16.71 per hour
