Nursery Cleaner – 10 Hours per Week (Afternoons)
Location: DN35 7UL Cleethorpes
Hours: 3:45pm – 5:45pm, Monday to Friday
Contract: 10 hours per week
We are looking for a reliable and dedicated Nursery Cleaner to join our friendly and welcoming team. This role involves cleaning during a time when a small number of staff and children are still onsite for tea, so you must be comfortable working in a childcare environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out daily cleaning duties across the nursery, ensuring all rooms are left safe, hygienic, and presentable.
- Work around room schedules, accessing rooms once they are empty.
- Clean classrooms, bathrooms, hallways, staff areas, and communal spaces as required.
- Safely use and store cleaning chemicals, ensuring they are never left unattended or accessible to children.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, following health and safety guidelines.
- Communicate politely with nursery staff and greet children appropriately if they acknowledge you (no direct interaction required).
About You:
- Comfortable working in an environment with young children and staff present.
- Able to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Professional, reliable, and mindful of safeguarding and safety at all times.
- Friendly and approachable—our team is very happy and supportive!
- Must have a current DBS check (Less than 3 months old) or be willing to undergo one before starting.
