Four Chambers Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of our client for experienced Industrial Cleaners / Tank Cleaning Operatives to work on a long-term industrial project in Ellesmere Port.
This is NOT a shutdown
This position is not a traditional industrial shutdown role.
You will be working as part of a dedicated project team responsible for the ongoing maintenance, cleaning and commissioning of a specific tank on site.
The role offers a minimum of 6 months' work, subject to the project being completed safely, efficiently and to the required professional standards.
Tank cleaning experience is MANDATORY for this position. Candidates without previous tank cleaning experience will not be considered.
The Role
You will be responsible for supporting the safe and efficient delivery of tank cleaning and associated industrial activities.
Duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Cleaning and maintaining a specific industrial tank as part of an ongoing project.
- Carrying out tank cleaning activities in accordance with site procedures.
- Operating high-pressure water jetting equipment where required.
- Supporting tank commissioning activities.
- Industrial cleaning and decontamination.
- Working within confined spaces where appropriately trained and authorised.
- Working alongside other members of the site team to complete tasks safely and efficiently.
- Following all site health, safety and environmental procedures.
- Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment.
- Attending daily site safety briefings.
- Reporting directly to the Site Manager / Supervisor.
- Completing all work to a professional standard.
Working Hours
- Monday to Friday
- 8 hours per day
- Overtime may be available when and if required, subject to project requirements.
- The role is based on a consistent ongoing project rather than short-term shutdown work.
Essential Requirements
Tank cleaning experience is mandatory.
Candidates must have:
- Proven previous experience in industrial tank cleaning.
- Experience working within an industrial environment.
- High-pressure water jetting experience.
- Good understanding of industrial health and safety procedures.
- Ability to work safely and professionally as part of a team.
- Reliable and punctual approach to work.
- Good communication skills.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Valid passport / right to work in the UK.
- Willingness to comply with all site safety requirements.
Desirable Qualifications
- Ultra High Pressure Water Jetting certification.
- Confined Space Entry certification.
- BA training.
- CCNSG Safety Passport or equivalent.

Please Note
This is a project-based tank cleaning and commissioning position, NOT a shutdown role.
Candidates must have genuine previous tank cleaning experience. This is a mandatory requirement and applications without relevant tank cleaning experience will not be progressed.
All successful applicants will be required to attend daily morning safety briefings and report to the Site Manager / Supervisor.
