ROLE EXPECTATIONS
You will deliver consistently high cleaning standards across internal and external communal areas, ensuring residents and visitors enjoy an immaculate, safe environment. You will manage daily routines, respond to ad-hoc cleaning needs and support the wider on-site team with waste management and basic housekeeping tasks.
WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE
- Communal spaces that are visibly spotless, well-presented and ready for residents throughout the day.
- A proactive approach to litter picking, waste management and recycling that keeps the estate pristine.
- Diligent adherence to health and safety procedures, including COSHH and correct use of equipment.
- Clear, timely reporting of hazards, damages and maintenance issues to the management team.
- Strong working relationships with concierge, security and contractors to coordinate tasks smoothly.
- Positive feedback from residents and colleagues about your reliability, courtesy and attention to detail.
HOW YOU'LL SPEND MOST OF YOUR TIME
- Cleaning entrances, lobbies, corridors, stairwells, lifts and amenity spaces to a high standard.
- Managing bin stores, handling waste and recycling collections, and keeping refuse areas hygienic.
- Litter picking and keeping external paths, courtyards and car park areas tidy and safe.
- Using cleaning machinery and supplies correctly and maintaining equipment in good order.
- Replenishing stock, monitoring inventory and ensuring safe storage of materials.
- Logging and escalating maintenance issues, spills and hazards promptly.

EXPERIENCE THAT HELPS
- Previous cleaning experience in residential developments, hotels, offices or public buildings.
- Familiarity with waste and recycling processes in large, multi-building environments.
- Experience using cleaning machinery such as scrubber dryers and carpet cleaners.
- Knowledge of basic health and safety practices, including safe handling of chemicals.
- Working as part of a facilities or concierge team in a customer-facing setting.
