The Valley Hotel is a privately owned, multi-faceted business, combining Hotel Bedrooms, trade along with a indoor/outdoor bars and informal dining.
We are looking to recruit a strong Second Chef who is passionate and are able to deliver with personality.
You will need;
- This is a demanding role which requires excellent communication skills
- The ability to remain calm and focused in a fast paced work environment.
- You will be knowledgeable of hygiene controls and health and safety
- Strong passion for food and for customer satisfaction
- Possess excellent organisational and leadership skills, be flexible and adaptable in your approach to work and you should be reliable and punctual
- Be a Team Player
- have a keen eye for detail
- Show initiative
- The ability to stay calm under pressure and able to handle multiple tasks at the same time
- Flexibility to be available to work a mixture of Shifts including Breakfast, Daytime, Evening, Weekends and Bank Holidays.
