Responsibilities
- Perform commercial cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and disinfecting floors, surfaces, and fixtures.
- Clean restrooms thoroughly, restocking supplies and ensuring sanitation standards are met.
- Empty trash bins and dispose of waste properly to maintain a tidy environment.
- Use cleaning equipment such as floor buffers, steam cleaners, and other tools safely and effectively.
- Follow established health and safety protocols to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel promptly.
- Maintain cleaning supplies inventory and notify management when supplies need replenishing.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial work is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to high standards of cleanliness.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while following instructions carefully.
- Good physical stamina to stand, bend, lift, and perform cleaning tasks throughout the shift.
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment safety procedures is advantageous.
- Reliable punctuality and a positive attitude are essential for success in this role.
