Overview
We are a leading manufacturer of rotational and reaction injection moulded parts specialising in technical mouldings for the agricultural and construction vehicle market. We are looking for a skilled, apprenticed trained and experienced Maintenance Engineer with mechanical experience ideally with rotating machinery. Some electrical experience will also be required. Additional training will be provided. Reporting to our Head of Maintenance you would be responsible for day to day maintenance in our factory.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience should include some of the following
· Level 3/4 NVQ diploma or equivalent in Engineering
· 17th 18th Edition beneficial
· COCN1 Commercial Gas Safety Certificate
· Experience working in a multi skilled maintenance role in a production environment
· Welding, fabrication, turning, and milling experience
· Adept at fault finding in mechanical, electrical, gas and plumbing systems
· Willing to work beyond standard hours for critical breakdowns
· Forklift driver or willing to learn.
What you will be doing
· Diagnose and resolve electrical and mechanical issues with our machinery
· Carry out repairs and fabrication work
· Work closely with outside contractors to coordinate repairs, review quotes and schedule routine PPM's
· Ensure all maintenance work is carried out safely as well as produce risk assessments.
· Maintain and manage our stock of spare parts whilst minimizing cost
· Keep clear records of work utilising our computer systems.
· Maintain the company’s calibration records
