Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise care staff to ensure the delivery of compassionate, personalized care for adults with complex needs
- Learn, contribute to, review, and implement detailed care plans tailored to each individual’s health requirements and preferences
- Monitor residents’ health status closely, responding promptly to changes and coordinating with healthcare professionals as needed
- Maintain clear and effective communication with residents, families, healthcare teams, and colleagues to ensure seamless care delivery
- Oversee daily operations within the care home environment, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and safety protocols
- Support team members through supervision, mentoring, and leadership to promote professional growth and high standards of care
- Utilize IT systems efficiently to document care activities, update records accurately, and manage schedules effectively
- Order, administer and document medication both orally and enterally.
Experience
- Proven experience working in a UK care home setting or with adults requiring complex or specialized care
- Demonstrated supervisory or supervising experience within a senior care environment
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a multidisciplinary team
- Knowledge of developing and implementing comprehensive care plans tailored to individual needs
- Excellent communication skills for liaising effectively with residents, families, healthcare professionals, and team members
- Valid driving license preferred for supporting transportation needs or community outings
- Competency in using IT systems for documentation and communication purposes
- Medication administation.
