Who are we looking for?
Due to an internal move within the team, we are looking to recruit a Cashier to join our Finance team on a full-time basis. Part-time hours may be considered for the right candidate.
The role will be a valuable addition to our busy Cashiers team in Carlisle and, reporting to the Team Leader, you will be responsible for the processing and reconciliation of financial transactions for both client and office money in accordance with the SRA Accounts rules. You will also undertake a variety of daily finance tasks.
Legal cashier experience is desirable but not essential as we would be happy to train a candidate who can demonstrate a strong numerical ability. Ideally, the successful candidate will have experience of working in a finance/accounting environment. Organisation and attention to detail are keys skills for this role along with experience of using accountancy software and electronic banking systems.
The successful candidate will have a proactive ‘can-do’ attitude. The ability to work as part of a team is essential together with excellent administrative, communication, organisational and IT skills.
What do we offer?
This is an excellent opportunity for the right candidate with the potential for longer-term career advancement in our forward-thinking law firm, with a well-established client base. Along with this we will provide you with a competitive salary, pension, 30 days holiday and Private Medical Health Insurance; in addition, we will even give you your birthday off every year too!
Our values of Together, Balanced, and Progressive, help to nurture our culture of providing outstanding client service within a caring and supportive environment.
