Responsibilities
- Assist with feeding, watering, and administering medications to animals according to veterinary instructions
- Clean and disinfect kennels, cages, and common areas to uphold hygiene standards
- Monitor animals for signs of illness or distress and report observations promptly
- Maintain accurate records of animal care activities, treatments, and behaviors
- Ensure the safety and security of animals by following proper handling protocols
- Help with bookings for new arrivals and departing animals
Skills
- Previous animal experience is highly desirable to understand animal health needs
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with team members and pet owners
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
- Compassionate attitude with a genuine love for animals and dedication to their welfare
- Attention to detail for record keeping and maintaining a clean environment
