Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Years Practitioner to join our childcare team.
Must hold a Level 2 or Level 3 childcare qualification. This role offers an exciting opportunity to support young children’s development within a nurturing and stimulating environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a safe, engaging, and educational setting that promotes early childhood learning and growth. Previous nursery experience and a strong understanding of early childhood education are highly desirable. The position involves working closely with children, parents, and colleagues to ensure the highest standards of care and education are maintained.
Duties
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that support children’s developmental needs
- Foster a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment for all children
- Support children’s social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development through play and structured activities
- Maintain accurate records of children’s progress and daily routines
- Communicate effectively with parents and carers regarding children’s achievements and well-being
- Supervise children both indoors and outdoors, ensuring their safety at all times
- Collaborate with colleagues to organise activities, outings, and special events
- Uphold all health and safety policies in accordance with regulatory standards
- Assist with daily housekeeping tasks related to the nursery environment
- Contribute to team meetings and ongoing professional development sessions
Qualifications
- Experience working with young children in a nursery or childcare setting is preferred
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and child development stages
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team while demonstrating initiative
- Childcare qualifications such as Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years Education are required.

Pay: £12.75-£13.10 per hour
