Contract: Bank Staff (Flexible Hours)
Reports to: Lead Youth Worker

We’re looking for enthusiastic and reliable Bank Youth Workers to join our team people we can call on to cover staff holidays, sickness, special events, and extra sessions during school holidays.

What You’ll Be Doing
As a Bank Youth Worker, you’ll:
- Support the delivery of fun, engaging, and safe youth work sessions.
- Working on detached youth work projects
- Build positive, supportive relationships with young people.
- Help manage group activities and behaviour in line with our policies.
- Support vulnerable young people and help them find additional support when needed.
- Take part in holiday activities, trips, and community events.
- Keep basic records and help with monitoring and evaluations.
- Work closely with our amazing team and volunteers to make every session count.
- Follow all safeguarding, health & safety, and equality policies to ensure safe, inclusive spaces for all.
What We’re Looking For
Essential:
- GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths.
- A genuine passion for supporting young people.
- Great communication skills and a positive, inclusive attitude.
- Ability to build trust and encourage young people to take part and grow.
- Organised, reliable, and able to work independently when needed.
- Willingness to work some evenings, weekends, and school holidays.
- Commitment to ongoing learning and development.
Desirable:
- Youth work or related qualification(s).
- Experience working with hard-to-reach young people.
- Knowledge of safeguarding, equality, and health & safety.
- Full, clean driving licence.
