KWF commercials is a growing and reputable workshop, committed to maintaining a high-quality fleet and delivering excellent service. Due to constant expansion, we are taking on at KWF commercials. We are a commercial Workshop (truck & trailer) based in Middleton Manchester on stake hill industrial estate, having recently moved from Trafford park we will be constantly taking on with plans to return to Trafford park and other areas.
We operate from our purpose built 5 bay fully equipped workshop including 2 pits, lifts and brake tester.
We are rapidly growing business with an easy going laid back environment. The chosen candidates will be able to become a part of the team and feel looked after.

As an HGV Technician/ Trailer Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining, servicing, and repairing our fleet of trucks and trailers to ensure they remain safe, compliant, and roadworthy.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out routine maintenance, inspections, and servicing on HGV trucks and trailers
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults
- Conduct MOT preparation and presentation
- Ensure all work is completed to DVSA standards
- Complete job cards and maintenance records accurately
- Respond to breakdowns when required (if applicable)
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment
Requirements
- Proven experience as an HGV/Trailer Technician or similar role
- Relevant qualifications (NVQ Level 2/3 in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent preferred)
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Good understanding of DVSA regulations and compliance
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Full UK driving licence (HGV licence advantageous but not essential)
