About the Role
As an Immigration Manager / Legal Specialist, you will lead and manage the organisation’s sponsorship licence and right to work compliance processes across multiple entities.
This is a hands-on role where you will work closely with stakeholders across the business, as well as managing and supporting Immigration Leads.
If you have strong experience in UK immigration law, sponsorship licences, and Home Office compliance, this could be the perfect role for you.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing and improving sponsorship licence processes and compliance frameworks
- Processing CoS applications, visa transfers, and SMS system management
- Ensuring compliance with Home Office reporting obligations
- Conducting Right to Work checks and applying statutory defence requirements
- Delivering training to managers and internal teams
- Conducting audits and compliance spot checks across the business
- Collating immigration data and reporting to senior leadership
- Drafting legal documentation where required
- Providing advice and legal support on immigration matters
- Promoting best practice across all business units
- Supporting wider Legal team across employment law, safeguarding, contracts and data protection
What We’re Looking For
Essential:
- 3–5+ years’ experience in business immigration
- Strong knowledge of UK immigration law and sponsorship licences
- Experience working with the Home Office
- Experience managing compliance in a regulated environment
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Commercial awareness and ability to adapt to regulatory changes
Desirable:
- Experience in the care sector / health & social care
- Experience working in a multi-site organisation
