Professional Hire Services is seeking confident and reliable HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) Tramper Drivers to support our growing client base in the Rugby area. This role is ideal for professional drivers looking for stable work with a supportive and reputable transport agency.
The Role:
- Operating a Class 1 vehicle for trunking, trailers swaps or RDC runs
- Completing scheduled routes safely and efficiently
- Carrying out routine vehicle checks before and after each shift
- Ensuring all transport documentation is completed accurately
- Maintaining a professional attitude while representing our clients on the road
Requirements:
- Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) Licence
- CPC Qualification and Digital Tachograph Card
- Minimum 12 months Class 1 driving experience preferred
- Maximum of 6 points on licence (no DR, DD or IN convictions)
- Strong understanding of road safety and compliance
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to high standards

Competitive pay rate:
Limited Company (LTD) Driver:
- Monday - Friday: £215.00/day
- Saturday: £225/day
- Sunday: £235/day
PAYE Driver with Rolled up Holiday included:
- Monday - Friday: £190.00/day
- Saturday: £201.00/day
- Sunday: £212.00/day
Additional allowances (PAYE drivers only):
- Night allowance: £26.20/night
- Meal allowance: £10.00/day
- Incident allowance: £5.00/day
