What You’ll Do:
As a Care Team Leader, you’ll balance hands-on care with leadership responsibilities. Your team will look to you for guidance, support, and reassurance, ensuring the smooth running of daily care operations. Think of yourself as the calming presence everyone relies on – especially in emergencies.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading and supervising Health Care Assistants on your shift.
- Supporting residents with daily care and assisting with medication administration.
- Contributing to person-centred care assessments, care planning, and reviews.
- Maintaining strong relationships with residents’ families, friends, and advocates.
- Upholding care standards and supporting training and development of junior staff.
- Responding to emergencies calmly and effectively when required.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience as a Team Leader or Health Care Assistant.
- Recognised qualification (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent).
- A genuine passion for working with vulnerable people and providing high-quality care.
- Ability to lead by example while offering a calm, supportive presence to your team.
