Job Title: Support worker Bank - Respite Centre (Children and Young People)
Location: Lewisham, SE London
Salary: £15 per Hour
Working Hours: Working 2 days a week.
Qualifications: NVQ/Diploma Level 2 in Children and Young People Social Care Setting or Adult Care equivalent
About Us: We are seeking an Bank Worker to join our dedicated team within a respite centre located in Lewisham, SE London. Our centre provides essential support to children/Young People with complex needs, and we are looking for a compassionate individual who is committed to making a positive impact on their lives.
Responsibilities: As a Bank Worker, you will play a vital role in providing care and support to children and young people with complex needs.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing one-on-one care and support to children.
- Creating a safe and nurturing environment for the children.
- Participating in team meetings and contributing to the overall well-being of the children.
- Collaborating with other staff members to ensure the highest level of care.
Requirements:
To be considered for this role, you must meet the following requirements:
- Hold or be willing to work towards an NVQ/Diploma Level 2 in Children and Young People Social Care Setting.
- Experience working children, young people or adults with complex needs.
- Flexibility to work over the weekend.
- Passion for working with children and young people with complex needs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong teamwork and collaboration abilities.
