Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Nursery Practitioner Level 3 to join our vibrant early childhood education team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality care and education to children, fostering their development in a safe and nurturing environment. Responsibilities
- Plan, deliver, and evaluate engaging learning activities tailored to the individual needs of children aged 0-5 years
- Ensure the safety, wellbeing, and development of all children in your care at all times
- Maintain accurate records of children's progress, behaviour, and daily routines
- Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues through effective communication
- Lead by example in promoting good practice within the nursery setting
- Support the induction and mentoring of junior staff or apprentices where applicable
- Organise and participate in team meetings, training sessions, and professional development activities
- Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, policies, and procedures related to childcare and early years provision
- Contribute to creating an inclusive environment that celebrates diversity and promotes equality
Skills
- Proven experience working with children within a nursery or early childhood setting
- Strong management and leadership skills to guide a team effectively
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
- Knowledge of child development principles and early childhood education frameworks
- Ability to organise activities that stimulate learning and development
- Childcare qualifications at Level 3 or higher recognised within the UK early years sector
- Valid driving licence is desirable for travelling between sites or community engagement activities
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team whilst demonstrating initiative and professionalism

Pay: £30,000.00-£37,417.98 per year
