Truck Driver
- This role will include occasional nights out, so flexibility is required.
- Ability to load and unload flat rigid vehicles is essential.
- Ability to secure your own load therefore roping, strapping and sheeting maybe required.
Duties:
- Safely operate a commercial vehicle to transport goods and materials to designated locations
- Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment
- Plan routes and ensure timely delivery of goods
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption
- Communicate with dispatchers and customers to coordinate delivery schedules
Qualifications:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Commercial driving experience essential - 3 Years
- Ability to operate a flatbed truck is a must
- Excellent knowledge of traffic laws and regulations
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and meet delivery deadlines
