What You'll Be Doing
As a Children's Support Worker, you'll play a vital role in helping young people feel safe, valued, and supported. You'll work alongside experienced care teams to provide consistent, high-quality care in residential settings.
Your responsibilities may include:
- Supporting children and young people with their daily routines
- Building positive, professional relationships based on trust and respect
- Encouraging independence, confidence, and life skills
- Supporting young people with emotional, behavioural, and mental health needs
- Assisting with activities, education, appointments, and community access
- Maintaining accurate records and following safeguarding procedures
- Working as part of a multidisciplinary team to achieve positive outcomes

What We're Looking For
We're keen to hear from candidates who have experience in:
- Children's Residential Care
- Support Work
- Residential Childcare
- Youth Work
- Care Assistant roles
- Mental Health Support
- Learning Disability Services
- Social Care
To join our agency team, you'll ideally have:
- Previous experience working with children or young people in a care or support setting
- A caring, resilient, and professional approach
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including days, nights, weekends, and bank holidays where available
- The right to work in the UK
A full UK driving licence is advantageous but not essential.
