SEND Teaching Assistant positions
- Specialist school
- Cheltenham, GL51
- SEND complex needs
- Full-time/Long-term (30 hours a week )
- September start
We're working on behalf of a fantastic specialist setting that provides individualised, creative and exciting learning pathways to children and young people aged 4 - 19 in Cheltenham. This school welcomes students with a range of needs, all pupils have an Education Health and Care Plan (EHCP) and most of the pupils have profound and severe learning difficulties.
We have placed multiple educators at the school who are thoroughly enjoying their time there, making a real impact on children's lives.
Enjoying 1-1 support is essential as the support you will be providing is mostly in small group settings - this really gives you the opportunity to build real relationships with the students. Due to the needs of the students it is desirable to have worked with SEND students before, ideally in a school setting. There are a number of September start posts available in this school, 1 to 1 support, group support and general classroom TA support.
Having experience working with children is essential and knowledge of SEND needs would be ideal!
