About the Opportunity
This Staff Software Engineer role is with one of our international technology clients. You will influence architecture, engineering practices, and technical direction while solving complex, high-impact problems.
Key Responsibilities
· Lead architecture and design of scalable distributed systems.
· Own complex cross-team engineering challenges.
· Drive technical strategy and influence engineering decisions.
· Improve platform scalability, reliability, and maintainability.
· Mentor engineers and raise engineering standards.
· Collaborate with engineering, product, and leadership teams.
Required Experience
· 10+ years of professional software engineering experience.
· Strong backend engineering expertise.
· Experience designing scalable distributed systems.
· Excellent software architecture and system design skills.
· Experience mentoring engineers and influencing multiple teams.
· Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
Technology Stack
Backend: Node.js, Go
Frontend: React, TypeScript
Infrastructure: Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Kubernetes, Terraform, PostgreSQL
