Role Overview
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Weekend Cleaner to join our team in Leeds City Centre. This part-time role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals who take pride in their work and enjoy creating a tidy, welcoming environment. The working hours for this role are 12 per week, working Friday, Saturday and Sunday, either 9:00am to 1:00pm or 10:00am to 2:00pm.
Role Responsibilities
You will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in various settings, ensuring that all areas are tidy, safe and welcoming. Your duties will be (but not limited to):
- Perform general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and disinfecting surfaces
- Clean and sanitise restrooms, kitchens, and communal areas to high standards
- Ensure all cleaning equipment and supplies are used efficiently and maintained properly
- Emptying bins regularly and disposing of waste materials responsibly and appropriately
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly
- Always follow health and safety procedures to maintain a safe working environment
- Maintain a professional and courteous attitude when interacting with clients or visitors

Essential Skills
- Hold basic English and communication skills, to understand instructions and interact with team members and clients effectively
- Good organisational skills to manage cleaning tasks efficiently within allocated timeframes
- A customer focused and friendly attitude, to ensure a positive experience for clients and visitors
- Strong attention to detail to ensure all areas meet cleanliness standards
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy
- Right to work in the UK
Desirable Skills
- Driving licence is desirable, as this role may require travelling between sites or locations, however is not essential
- Previous cleaning experience is preferred but not essential
