Support Worker – Dundee
Do you enjoy making a real difference in someone’s day?
Are you an experienced support worker available for work in Dundee and surrounding areas?
You will be supporting individuals to live as independently as possible, helping with daily routines, activities and time out in the community, while building positive and respectful relationships.
About the role
- Ad hoc shifts, flexible around your availability
- Standard shifts 8am-4pm or 2pm-10pm, shorter shifts also available
- Delivering personal care, moving and handling, and support with daily living
- Administering medication safely and accurately
What we're looking for
- Comfortable and experienced with medication administration
- Confident with personal care and moving and handling (essential)
- Experience supporting older people and those living with dementia (preferred)
- Catheter care experience (preferred)
- Full driving licence and access to a vehicle (preferred)
- A caring, reliable, and flexible approach
About you:
- You have previous experience working in a similar support role
- You have experience supporting elderly people
- You are caring, reliable and patient
- You are comfortable working as part of a team
