We’re on the lookout for friendly and energetic Café Assistants to join our team at one of Ambleside’s busiest cafés with a view. If you enjoy working with people, being part of a team, love great food and coffee and don’t mind a bit of a fast pace—this could be perfect for you.
No two days are the same, and you’ll be right at the heart of the action helping serve customers and keeping things running smoothly.
Please note: We do not provide staff accommodation.
What you’ll be doing
- Serving customers and creating a great experience
- Taking orders and handling basic queries
- Clearing and cleaning tables
- Helping with simple food and drink prep
- Keeping the café clean, tidy, and welcoming
- Working as part of a team during busy shifts
- Adhering to health & safety standards
