We are seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused individuals to join us in our bars, restaurant, and food outlets across Ruda Holiday Park. This can be a fairly varied role; one day you could be scooping ice cream down at the beach, the next day serving food and drink in our main restaurant & bar.
This role involves providing exceptional service in a fast-paced environment, ensuring guests have an enjoyable experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and serving drinks, maintaining cleanliness, and delivering outstanding guest services. Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant settings is advantageous, but full training will be provided for the right candidates.
This role does include evenings and weekends
Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, in accordance with company standards.
- Take orders from guests accurately and efficiently, ensuring prompt service.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and work surfaces.
- Check identification to verify legal drinking age and adhere to licensing laws.
- Upsell drinks and promote special offers to maximise sales opportunities.
- Handle cash and card transactions accurately using the POS system.
- Restock bar supplies as needed to ensure smooth operation throughout shifts.
- Assist with the delivery of food to tables, along with clearing tables.
- Follow food safety and hygiene standards diligently to ensure guest safety at all times.
- Provide friendly and attentive guest services, addressing any queries or concerns professionally.
Skills
- Proven experience in hospitality or restaurant environments is preferred but not essential; training will be provided.
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards and responsible alcohol service.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable manner.
- Good organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods.
- Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately.
- Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
- Time management skills to ensure timely service delivery.
- Knowledge of food preparation or culinary experience is a plus but not mandatory.
