An exciting opportunity has arisen for a trainee dental nurse to join our professional, supportive and friendly team at Rosemount Dental Practice in Bo’ness.
We are a well-established Practice with 2 dentists delivering a high standard of NHS and Private treatments. As a recognised training Practice we are passionate about developing dental nurses and are committed to continuing to grow and support our nursing team.
This is a full time, permanent position based in practice.
Opening hours:
· Monday to Friday 9am-5:30pm
You will receive full in-house training alongside experienced clinicians and nurses and
be enrolled on a college course to gain your dental nurse qualification. The
qualification usually takes 12 months to complete. We take pride in being a training
Practice and nurturing and developing dental nurses throughout their careers, no just
during training.

Key Responsibilities
- Assisting dentists during procedures while ensuring excellent patient care and comfort
- Preparing and organising dental instruments and materials
- Maintaining accurate patient records using computerised systems in line with GDC regulations
- Communicating effectively with patients and team members
- Upholding high standards of infection control, hygiene, and practice cleanliness
We are looking for a reliable, flexible, and friendly individual who:

- Has good communication and interpersonal skills
- Is comfortable using IT systems (or willing to learn)
