Do you love working with children and have lots of energy and confidence? We’re looking for a friendly, enthusiastic and reliable Class Teacher to deliver fun, interactive Boogie Beat music and movement sessions for babies, toddlers and preschool children.
Boogie Beat combines traditional fairy tales and nursery rhymes with music, movement, singing, dance and sensory play to create magical experiences for young children and their grown-ups.
Full training and session plans are provided, so previous experience isn’t required. We’re looking for someone with a warm personality who enjoys performing, engaging with families and creating a positive atmosphere.
This is a self-employed, term-time role with flexible hours and the opportunity to grow.
Duties
- Deliver engaging Boogie Beat classes following provided lesson plans.
- Create a fun, welcoming and inclusive environment for children and their families.
- Set up and pack away class equipment before and after each session.
- Lead singing, dancing, storytelling and movement activities with confidence.
- Encourage participation and build positive relationships with families.
- Maintain high standards of safeguarding, health and safety at all times.
- Keep equipment organised and report any issues.
- Represent the Boogie Beat brand professionally within the local community.
- Occasionally support birthday parties, nursery sessions and special events.
Experience
Essential
- Access to a car and a full UK driving licence.
- Willingness to complete training and an enhanced DBS check (if required).
Pay: £14.00-£15.00 per hour
