Were now looking for a reliable Yard Operative to join our team at our Scrubs Lane, London branch.
The Role
We are looking for a Yard Operative to support the safety and efficient running of our branch.
This is a hands on, outdoor role involving heavy roofing materials and direct customer interaction.
What You'll Be Doing
- Load and unload roofing materials and timber
- Pick and prepare customer orders
- Assist customers collecting goods from the yard
- Maintain a clean, organised and safe yard area
- Operate forklift trucks (if trained)
- Follow all health and safety procedures
- What Were Looking For
- Positive, can do attitude
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Forklift licence (preferred but not essential)
- Full UK driving licence
- Yard or builders merchant experience (desirable)
- Sales or product knowledge is a bonus
- Working Hours
- Monday Friday 06:3015:30
- Monday - Friday 06:30 - 15:30 Every other Saturday 07:00-11:00
