We are currently recruiting for an experienced Senior ICT Analyst to join a forward-thinking public sector organisation on a 6-month agency contract.

Responsibilities
- Develop and oversee comprehensive system architecture designs, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and industry best practices.
- Lead solution architecture initiatives by integrating cloud services such as AWS and Azure with on-premises infrastructure utilizing VMware, ESXi, and virtualization technologies.
- Manage system administration tasks across operating systems including Windows, Linux, UNIX, and macOS to maintain optimal performance and security.
- Design and implement scalable microservices architectures using REST APIs, Kubernetes, Docker containers, and DevOps tools like Jenkins and Git to streamline deployment pipelines.
Requirements
As a Senior ICT Analyst, you will take a lead role in the delivery, support and continuous improvement of business applications. You will work closely with internal teams, suppliers and stakeholders to ensure systems are reliable, effective and aligned with business needs.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Leading the administration, configuration and continuous improvement of business applications.
- Acting as a technical lead for key Revenues and Benefits systems.
- Designing and enhancing low-code solutions using Power Apps, Power Automate and Dataverse.
- Supporting and developing Microsoft 365 technologies, including Teams, SharePoint and the wider Power Platform.
- Supporting cloud, on-premises and hybrid application environments.
- Troubleshooting servers, integrations, data flows and connected systems.
- Managing system testing, assurance, data migration and validation activities.
- Working with suppliers and providing technical liaison and support.
- Leading technical workstreams and contributing to wider ICT projects.
- Working collaboratively with project managers, analysts and business stakeholders.
- Identifying opportunities to simplify processes, reduce risk and improve service delivery.
- Applying ITIL service management principles and Agile delivery practices.
About You
We are looking for someone with a strong technical background in application delivery, support and service improvement, who can also confidently engage with people at all levels of an organisation.
You will ideally have experience with:
- Microsoft 365, including Teams, SharePoint and Power Platform.
- Power Apps, Power Automate and Dataverse or similar low-code/automation technologies.
- Supporting cloud-based, on-premises and hybrid business applications.
- Server administration, troubleshooting and performance monitoring.
- System integrations, data management and connectivity.
- Leading technical projects or workstreams.
- ITIL/service management principles and Agile delivery.
- Testing, system assurance, data migration and validation.
- Building strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
You will be a confident problem solver with excellent attention to detail and a genuine interest in continuous improvement. You should also be able to explain complex technical information clearly to non-technical colleagues.
Experience with NEC solutions would be advantageous but is not essential.
Working Arrangements
This is a hybrid position, with candidates required to work at least 50% of their time from offices in Lyndhurst, Hampshire to support effective collaboration with colleagues and stakeholders.
