We are seeking a dedicated Bank Kitchen Assistant to join our caring team in Sandbanks Care Centre in Redcar. This vital role supports our kitchen operations, ensuring residents receive nutritious and well-prepared meals that meet the highest standards of food safety and quality. Responsibilities
- Assist in food preparation and meal service to ensure timely delivery of nutritious meals.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area in compliance with food safety standards.
- Support the culinary team in cooking and food presentation.
- Ensure proper storage of ingredients and supplies.
- Follow health and safety regulations at all times.
- Collaborate with staff to meet the dietary needs of residents.
- Contribute to a positive and respectful kitchen environment.
- Qualifications
- Proven experience in food preparation or kitchen assistance.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills and teamwork orientation.
- Flexibility to support various shifts as needed.
- Previous experience in elder care or healthcare settings is a plus.
- Culinary training or relevant certifications are advantageous.
