Responsibilities
- Lead and deliver engaging rugby coaching sessions tailored to different age groups and skill levels
- Plan and implement training drills that improve technical skills, fitness, and game understanding
- Promote sportsmanship, teamwork, and fair play among all participants
- Monitor player progress and provide constructive feedback to encourage development
- Ensure the safety of all participants by adhering to health and safety guidelines during activities
- Foster an inclusive environment that welcomes players from diverse backgrounds and abilities
- Collaborate with program coordinators to organize tournaments, community events, and outreach initiatives
Skills
- Proven sports coaching experience with a focus on rugby or similar team sports
- Strong teaching abilities with the capacity to motivate and engage learners of varying ages
- Excellent communication skills to clearly convey instructions and feedback
- Ability to promote teamwork, discipline, and positive sporting values
- Knowledge of rugby rules, techniques, and safety protocols
