Job description
We are looking for an enthusiastic, welcoming, and friendly new member of staff to join our small, fun, and positive team! You will be part of the kitchen staff, working afternoon and evening shifts.
This is a full-time position offering 35–38 hours per week, with competitive pay and a great working environment. This role is where your passion for Italian food and dedication to excellence will shine! You will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of Italian dishes with precision and creativity.
You will also be required to develop a strong understanding of our Italian kitchen and learn the art of pizza making. Full training will be provided for both the kitchen and pizza stations. Enthusiasm, a willingness to learn, and a positive attitude are just as important as experience for this role.
Duties
- Prepare ingredients and cook menu items according to our recipes and standards.
- Assist with food plating and presentation to ensure visual appeal.
- Maintain clean and organized workstations while adhering to food safety regulations.
- Work as part of the kitchen team during busy service periods.
- Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and hygiene.
- Monitor inventory levels and notify management when supplies need replenishing.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and deliver excellent service.
