Position: Maintenance Officer
Location: Quarry Road, Wenvoe, Cardiff, CF56AA
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Duration: 6+ Months
Working Hours: 37 Hours Per Week
Pay Rate: PAYE: £124.50 per day
Job Responsibilities
- Carry out internal and external painting and decorating works to a high standard.
- Prepare surfaces, apply professional paint finishes, and complete repairs as required.
- Work efficiently as part of an established maintenance team.
- Maintain a professional, respectful, and customer-focused approach when working in tenants' homes.
- Follow health and safety procedures, company policies, and maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Travel to different locations as required using a company vehicle or own transport.
Person Specification
Essential Requirements:
- Fully qualified Painter/Decorator with relevant experience.
- Proven experience in internal and external painting within maintenance or refurbishment environments.
- Full UK driving licence required.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a busy maintenance team.
- Good communication skills and a professional attitude.
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to delivering high-quality workmanship.
Desirable Requirements:
- Knowledge of the Vale of Glamorgan area is desirable.
- Experience working within social housing, domestic maintenance, or refurbishment environments.
