The Ilsington Country House Hotel and Spa is a 4-star family owned and run hotel, located on the edge of the Dartmoor National Park, 3 miles from A38 and Bovey Tracey.
The Restaurant holds 2 AA rosettes for cuisine, with all food being freshly prepared on the premises. We are seeking an enthusiastic Commis Chef to join our friendly team. You would gain experience on all sections within the kitchen with training and guidance given throughout.
Our Head Chef has been at the hotel for over 25 years and is passionate about food and the ability to pass on his experience to others. You should have a basic understanding of cooking ideally with some College training, but more importantly be passionate and
You will work 5 days out of 7, straight shifts and be entitled to 28 days holiday per year.
An apprenticeship would also be a possibility and we work closely with apprenticeship providers already. This would still be based full time at the hotel with time put aside for completing the necessary tasks. More information can be given.
Transport is essential due to our location. We are 4 miles from A38 and Bovey Tracey in a rural location.
There is no live-in accommodation with this position.
