Temporary Summer Cleaner (Part-Time)

Hours: 8–10 hours per week (flexible)
Pay: £13.00 per hour

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Cleaner to join our team on a temporary summer basis. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and enjoys working independently.
Working within a student accommodation environment, you will be responsible for keeping communal areas clean, safe, and welcoming for residents and visitors.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitise communal areas including corridors, lifts, stairwells, gym facilities, entrance areas, and other public spaces.
- Vacuum carpets, mop floors, dust surfaces, and empty bins on a regular basis.
- Carry out deep cleaning tasks as required.
- Use cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and effectively, including vacuum cleaners, steam cleaners, mops, and other cleaning machinery.
- Restock cleaning supplies and consumables where required.
- Follow all health and safety procedures and company standards.
- Report any maintenance issues, damages, or health and safety concerns identified during cleaning duties.
- Maintain a consistently high standard of cleanliness throughout all areas.
- Assist with periodic deep cleans and special cleaning projects.
Requirements
- Previous professional cleaning experience is preferred.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Comfortable using cleaning chemicals and equipment in accordance with safety guidelines.
- Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work with minimal supervision.
- Good attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards.
