Derby College Group (DCG) is recruiting for an Executive Assistant role, providing high-level, confidential support to the Vice Principal of Quality of Education. Based at The Roundhouse, with travel to other DCG campuses as required to meet business needs, the successful candidate will coordinate quality improvement activities, support curriculum planning, ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, and enable the efficient delivery of all aspects of the Quality of Education provision.
The Opportunity
You’ll will provide high-level, strategic support to the Vice Principal – Quality of Education, contributing directly to the success of the College’s quality agenda. You’ll prepare papers for key senior leadership meetings, take minutes and oversee action logs, coordinate quality assurance activity, support curriculum planning, and ensure inspection readiness. Working closely with senior leaders and stakeholders, you will drive effective communication, streamline operations, and support the delivery of impactful quality improvement initiatives across the organisation.

About You
You’ll be an experienced Executive Assistant or senior administrator with a proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Highly organised and proactive, you bring excellent written communication skills and advanced digital expertise across Microsoft 365. You are confident analysing data and producing clear, high-quality reports for senior leaders. With strong relationship-building skills, discretion, and professionalism, you remain calm under pressure, take initiative, and demonstrate a commitment to accuracy, continuous improvement, and maintaining high standards. Ideally, you will have worked in education previously.
