Duties
- Collaborate closely with couples to plan and coordinate all wedding details, from initial consultation to the final send-off
- Manage event timelines and logistics
- Upsell additional services such as décor enhancements, special packages, or upgrades to enhance client satisfaction and revenue
- Oversee setup and breakdown of wedding ceremonies and receptions, ensuring all elements align with the couple’s vision
- Provide exceptional guest services by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere
- Maintain meticulous organisational records of all wedding arrangements, contracts, and schedules
- Coordinate with hotel or venue staff to ensure all hospitality standards are met and exceeded
Experience
- Previous experience in hospitality, hotel management, or restaurant service is highly desirable for understanding guest expectations and service excellence
- Proven ability in event planning or coordination with a focus on weddings or large gatherings
- Strong time management skills to juggle multiple weddings simultaneously while adhering to tight schedules
- Excellent communication skills for liaising with clients, vendors, staff, and guests effectively
- Demonstrated organisational skills with keen attention to detail in managing complex event logistics
- Experience in fundraising or guest services can be an asset in creating memorable guest experiences
- Familiarity with hospitality industry standards enhances your ability to deliver top-tier service in a fast-paced environment
