Baker Motors is a friendly, family-run independent garage with a strong reputation for quality workmanship and excellent customer service. We're looking for a qualified MOT Tester to join our team in our brand-new MOT testing facility.
This is a part-time role, ideal for someone looking for a better work-life balance or flexible working. While the role is primarily carrying out MOT tests, you'll also assist with light workshop duties as required to support the team.
Hours
- Monday, Wednesday & Friday
- 8:30am – 6:00pm
- Hours and working days can be discussed for the right candidate.
Responsibilities
- Carry out Class 4 MOT tests in accordance with DVSA standards.
- Accurately complete MOT documentation and records.
- Explain MOT results clearly and professionally to customers when required.
- Assist with light workshop duties during quieter periods.
- Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment.
- Work closely with the workshop team to ensure the smooth running of daily operations.
Requirements
- Valid MOT Tester licence.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to vehicle safety.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Reliable, professional and able to work as part of a team.
