Special Ingredients Ltd is a leading supplier of high-quality food ingredients and flavourings, serving customers across the United Kingdom, Europe, and worldwide. As our business continues to grow, we are looking for a motivated and reliable Warehouse Operative to join our expanding team.
About the Role
As a Warehouse Operative, you will play a key role in supporting our daily warehouse operations. Working under the supervision of the Warehouse Manager, your responsibilities will include picking and packing orders, maintaining organised stock, cleaning products, labelling and ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of warehouse activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Picking, packing, and preparing orders accurately
- Cleaning and labelling products
- Assisting with general warehouse duties to maintain efficient operations
- Ensuring products are handled according to food hygiene and safety standards
- Maintaining a clean and organised working environment
- Working collaboratively with team members to meet operational targets
What We’re Looking For
We are seeking a candidate who is:
- Hardworking, reliable, and committed to maintaining an excellent attendance record
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Self-motivated and able to work both independently and as part of a team
- Proactive with good communication and teamwork skills
- Interested in developing within the company and progressing into future roles
Previous warehouse experience, particularly within the food industry, would be beneficial but is not essential, as full training will be provided. Basic IT skills would also be advantageous.
