About Us: Bridge House is a charitable organisation dedicated to supporting homeless individuals. Our team works tirelessly to provide supported accommodation, essential services and create a safe environment for those in need.
Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated Cleaner to join our team at Bridge House. The successful candidate will maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in our new staff building. This facility includes two toilets, a meeting room, three staff offices, and a kitchen. There will be overtime available to cover the holidays of our cleaning staff in the residential building.
Key Responsibilities:
· Perform general cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting.
· Clean and sanitize restroom facilities to ensure they meet health and safety standards.
· Keep the meeting room tidy and presentable for staff and visitors.
· Clean and maintain the kitchen area, including countertops, sinks, and appliances.
· Empty trash bins and dispose of waste in designated areas.
· Monitor cleaning supplies and report any shortages or maintenance issues.
· Follow cleaning schedules and procedures to ensure all areas are cleaned efficiently and effectively.
Qualifications and Skills:
· Previous experience in cleaning or housekeeping preferred.
· Ability to work independently and follow instructions.
· Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
· Good time management skills to complete tasks within designated timeframes.
· Understanding and adherence to health and safety regulations.
