We're a busy Bosch Car Service garage in Walsall looking for an experienced Service Advisor to run our front of house.
You'll be the voice of the garage — the person customers speak to when they book in, the one who explains what's been found and why it matters, and the link between the customer and the workshop. Get this role right and the whole place runs better, which is why we're looking for someone who's done it before.
This is a permanent, full-time role: Monday to Friday, with alternate Saturday mornings.
What you'll be doing
- Booking customers in and managing the workshop diary to keep the ramps busy and the day running to time
- Meeting and greeting customers, taking clear job descriptions and setting realistic expectations
- Producing accurate quotes and estimates, and getting authorisation before work goes ahead
- Explaining MOT failures, advisories and repair recommendations in plain English — no jargon, no pressure
- Keeping customers updated through the day and handling the phones
- Ordering parts and liaising with suppliers
- Taking payments, raising invoices and keeping job records accurate
- Working closely with the technicians to keep the workshop flowing and problems caught early
What you'll need
- Previous experience as a Service Advisor in a garage, dealership or fast-fit — this is essential
- A genuine understanding of the work you're booking in: servicing, MOTs, diagnostics, general repairs
- Confident on the phone and face to face, and able to stay calm when the diary is full and the phone is ringing
- Well organised, accurate with paperwork and comfortable with garage management software
- Full UK driving licence

Pay: £25,420.00-£39,727.61 per year
