Overview
We are currently looking for a friendly, enthusiastic team player with a can-do attitude to assist with general workshop tasks that will help ensure the smooth and safe running of the factory and its associated equipment. The role will also require you to deliver components to our customers using our company van.
Responsibilities
· General workshop cleanliness and machine maintenance.
· Swarf Management
· Material Cutting and Preparing
· Operating company forklifts
· Van Driving as/when required.
· Undergo any reasonable tasks to ensure the smooth running of the factory floor.
The Individual
Essential
· Self-Motivated
· Keen eye for detail
· Proactive and able to notice when a task needs to be done
· Enthusiastic approach to learning
· Be able to work without close supervision.
· React positively to requests for assistance from the team, able to be flexible and respond well to change
· Full clean UK driving licence.
Preferred
· Previous experience in a similar role.
· Forklift Licence. (Training will be provided if needed)
