We are seeking an experienced and reliable UPVC Window & Door Fitter to join our growing team delivering high-quality installation works across social housing properties in Tower Hamlets.
This is a permanent position offering a competitive salary of £38,000 per year, with the opportunity to significantly increase your earnings through optional weekend overtime.
Key Responsibilities
- Install and replace UPVC windows and doors in occupied and void social housing properties.
- Remove existing frames and glazing safely and efficiently.
- Carry out all installations to a high standard, ensuring compliance with current regulations.
- Complete making good works where required.
- Provide excellent customer service when working in tenants' homes.
- Complete job documentation accurately and report any issues to the site supervisor.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work area.
Essential Requirements
- Proven experience fitting UPVC windows and doors.
- Previous experience working within social housing or domestic refurbishment.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Desirable Qualifications
- CSCS Card.
- MTC Card.
- Asbestos Awareness.
- Manual Handling.
- Working at Height.
- DBS Check (or willingness to obtain one).
