About Us:
The Aviary is a lively, independent restaurant in the heart of Dollar, known for our creative, delicious food, vibrant atmosphere, signature cocktails, and buzzing events. We've recently expanded with the opening of our second venue – The Deil’s Cradle, the bar next door – making it an exciting time to join our growing team!
The Role:
We’re on the hunt for a confident, calm, and experienced part-time supervisor to help lead our front-of-house team. You’ll be the go-to person during busy shifts – hosting, running service, managing bookings, shaking cocktails when needed, and keeping everything running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and support the front-of-house team during service
- Ensure smooth day-to-day operations
- Deliver outstanding customer experience
- Handle high-pressure situations with a cool head
- Liaise with kitchen and bar teams
- Help train and mentor junior staff
About You:
- Minimum 1 year of supervisor experience in hospitality (restaurant or similar)
- Strong people skills – approachable, fair, and assertive when needed
- Organised, efficient, and great under pressure
- Passionate about food, drink, and service
- Comfortable leading a team and taking initiative
