Your Purpose
As a Planned Maintenance Operative, you'll support our hotels across the UK, following a planned schedule to complete shower head descaling and other compliance-related maintenance tasks. You'll play a key role in ensuring our hotels meet Health & Safety standards while working closely with Hotel Managers and the Maintenance team to minimise disruption and keep rooms available for guests.
Your Strengths
You will be completing shower head descaling and extractor fan cleaning across the Travelodge estate, ensuring all work is carried out safely, efficiently and in line with compliance procedures. You'll maintain accurate records, manage your van stock, communicate job completion with Hotel Managers and the central office, and return rooms to service as quickly as possible while maintaining high standards of quality.
In addition you will be organised, reliable and able to work independently while meeting programme deadlines. You'll have excellent communication and customer service skills, a strong attention to detail and the flexibility to travel nationwide with regular overnight stays from Monday to Friday. Experience in a similar role, the hotel industry or knowledge of Legionella prevention would be an advantage, but isn't essential.
